Alatina is an artist in many senses of the word.

Alatina's experience covers a wide range of areas in the creative industries. One of these is in the music business, where she is a solo music artist involved in the fusion, funk, rock, soul, blues, r&b, swing and dance music styles from many eras. Her inspiration also comes from a variety of other styles.

 

Alatina is a songwriter, singer, performer, lyricist, recording artist, choreographer, dancer, instrumentalist, music arranger, mixer, as well as a producer and has been involved in these aspects for many years.

 

Over the years, Alatina has performed at venues in London, Cambridge and a variety of other venues in the United Kingdom. She has also performed overseas, including performing online concerts since the worldwide pandemic altered the way many industries do business. Currently, Alatina has a recently completed original album and several singles, including a sizeable portfolio of more original music waiting to be heard.

 

The experience Alatina has of the business, networking, marketing and promotional material design of the music industry includes:

 

•           Contacting venue owners via the phone or online to arrange and negotiate performances.

•           Filming, directing, choreographing, editing, producing original music videos and lyric videos to progress into finished productions and be uploaded via online music platforms.

•           Designing promotional and marketing material such as a music business card, poster, flyers, a trademark visual and musical style, and developing a unique brand.

•           Networking with venue owners, other musicians and a variety of music contacts to form musical and business collaborations.

•           Recording initial song ideas, writing lyrics and music, formally recording all parts and developing ideas, editing, arranging, mixing, mastering producing to progress the ideas into finished albums, EPs and singles.

•           Utilising Soundcloud, Youtube and Instagram to promote music by posting music news and uploading audio and video recordings or live performances of original material and covers.

•           Choreographing moves and rehearsing her vocals for performances of original material, including covers at a variety of venues and online concerts, including selling CDs and promoting the material with announcements of her music links before and after performances.
